Corpus Theme – User Guide
Installation is a fairly easy process. In order to install your theme, first you must download the theme from our Dashboard. Now log into your WordPress site and perform the following procedure.
Step 1: Follow this path
Appearance -> Themes -> Add New
Step 2: Click
Step 3: Click
Step 4: Now browse and upload the recently downloaded theme
Step 5: Click
Install Now button
Step 6: Now click ‘Activate’ link

Theme Options Panel
Corpus Premium theme contains Theme Option Panel which is not available in the free version. In order to get to theme options panel, log into your site and go to
Appearance -> Theme Options.
Corpus premium theme comes equipped with a tool known as Homepage Builder. Using this tool, one can easily setup the homepage on a site. You will need to understand the logic behind Homepage Builder before using it (which is quite simple).
Corpus premium theme displays homepage using multiple content sections like Slideshow, Headboxes, About us, Services, Projects etc. Homepage Builder gives you control over which section among these you want to display on your Homepage and not.
Plus+ You can also control which of these sections you want to be displayed on per-page or per-post basis (we will discuss that later).

Scenario #1: Default Homepage
Just go to
Appearance -> Theme Options -> Homepage Builder. You will find a setting Homepage Sections and you will see a list of check boxes against each content section. Just check the content section you want to display on your homepage.
Scenario #2: Per-page Basis
With Corpus Premium theme, you can easily define which content sections you want to be displayed on that particular page. Go to the page editing screen of a page and below you will find a new section Corpus Options and there you can choose the content sections you want to be displayed with that page.
Scenario #3: Per-post Basis
Go to the post editing screen of a particular post and below you will find a new section Corpus Options and there you can choose the content sections you want to be displayed with that post.
Scenario #4: Static page as Homepage
Go to the page editing screen of the page you have chosen as your Homepage and below you will find a new section Corpus Options and there you can choose the content sections you want to be displayed on the homepage.
Scenario #5: Blog page
(Only applicable, in-case you are using a static page as your homepage) When using static page as homepage you will have a separate page to show your blog. Go to
Appearance -> Theme Options -> Homepage Builder. You will find a setting called Blog Sections, use it to display the required content sections on the blog page.
Corpus Premium theme includes with it a slideshow which allows you to display up to 10 slides with overlay text like Slide Title, Description and a Button. You can view the demo of corpus theme to understand see the slideshow in action.
Here are the 5 components that make up a slide in a slideshow. You can modify the following settings “individually” for each slide.
- Slide Image (Required): This is the image of your slide.
- Slide Overlay Title (Optional): This is the title text which floats over your image.
- Slide Overlay Description (Optional): This is the description text which floats over the image.
- Slide Button Text (Optional): This is the button text which floats over the image.
- Slide Button URL (Optional): This is the URL of the button.
In order to manage these settings, go to
Theme Options -> Featured Section and modify these settings for the required number of slides as listed below.
With Corpus premium theme, you also get the ability to manage the various settings of a slideshow which are listed below:
- Slideshow Speed (100 ms to 10000 ms)
- Slideshow Animation Speed (100 ms to 10000 ms)
- Hide Navigation (left or right navigation icons)
- Smooth Height
- Animation Type (fade or slide)
- Slideshow Direction (horizontal vertical)
Headboxes are displayed below the slideshow with title, description and a button. In order to manage headboxes you will need to go to
Theme Options -> Headbox Settings.
Using the About us section, you can display a small description about yourself or your organization with a background image, title, description and a button. To manage About us Section, go to
Theme Options -> About us Settings.
The Services section allows you to display three different services with image, title and description. To manage services section you will need to go to
Theme Options -> Service Section.
The Projects section allows you to display up-to 8 projects with image, title, description and button. To manage Projects section you will need to go to
Theme Options -> Project Section.
The Testimonials section allows you to display up-to 10 testimonials with Client image, name, identity (CEO or WordPress Developer etc.) and testimonial. All the testimonials are displayed in a slideshow. To manage Testimonials section, go to
Theme Options -> Testimonials.
The Quote section allows you to “ask” your visitors to contact you. You will need a Contact form for that, we recommend using Contact Form 7 Plugin. To manage Quote section, go to
Theme Options -> Quote.
